Description

This facial charcoal sponge was created from the roots of the konyakku plant in Japan. Fibers from the plant are cleansed and spun into a water- retentive puff. The sponge cleanses the skin without scratching or irritating and is ideal for daily use. The charcoal infused in this sponge helps to draw out impurities and gently lift up the dirt and toxin build up from pores.

Directions For Use:

When using for the first time, soak the sponge in warm water for 10-15 minutes until it puffs up and rehydrates. Once expanded it should be soft and squishy like a sponge cake. 

To use daily, first soak briefly in warm water to rehydrate. It can then be used with or without a cleanser. Rub the sponge in circular motions to remove dirt and toxins from the skin. When finished, squeeze out any excess water and hang to dry. After 3 months be sure to sanitize or replace the sponge. To sterilize, boil in water or saturate with water and microwave for 20 seconds. Replace the sponge after 3 to 6 months. Discard the sponge if you see mold, bacterial growth, it smells funny, becomes discolored, or looks off.
