Gotu kola supports overall cognitive health. Known throughout Asia as for its calming effect. A good ‘all-round’ herb with many actions — all of which work together to move & eliminate stagnation in order to support healing. A ‘brain’ tonic herb — similar to Ginkgo – the leaf of the Gotu Kola plant resembles the lobes of the human brain.
It is a great herb for c-section scars.
Qualities: It is considered sweet, bitter, and astringent in taste and energetically cooling.
