Description
Referred to as the “village pharmacy”, neem is revered in traditional healing practices for its wide range of uses. Azadirachta indica is a fast-growing tree native to India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Nepal. Bitter and astringent, neem leaves have been employed in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda for millennia.
Neem is also referred to as bead tree, margosa, and nimba. It is a member of the Meliaceae family.
