Description

Cordyceps, a fungal genus deriving its name from Greek and Latin roots signifying "club" and "head," encompasses around 400 species, predominantly thriving in tropical climates. This fungus exhibits a parasitic nature, targeting insects and occasionally other fungi for reproduction, and has a rich history in traditional Tibetan and Chinese healing practices.

In Tibetan medicine, cordyceps has been employed as a tonic to enhance energy and stamina, contributing to immune health and fortification to promote overall well-being.*

Our cordyceps powder is finely ground from the fruiting body of Cordyceps militaris, cultivated on organic rice and soybean flour. While the wild form of Cordyceps is scarce and costly, a cultivated strain, derived from its wild counterpart, is now widely utilized. Traditionally utilized in Chinese medicine as a broth, it can also be prepared as an extract, brewed as a tea, or encapsulated for consumption.
