Used as a soothing digestive remedy, anti-inflammatory, and mild urinary antiseptic. Meadowsweet herb was employed in traditional European medicine and was typically used to flavor wines, meads, and vinegars. The herb can be steeped as meadowsweet tea or made into a liquid extract.
Combinations:
Marshmallow and Lemon Balm for gastric conditions, particularly as a tea
Licorice for excess acidity or gastric ulceration
Angelica or Willow bark to help with Arthritis
